Santana Sunrise – Fine Art Print
Santana Sunrise was captured during an early morning in Santana, Madeira. I had gone out that morning planning to photograph macro subjects, but when I saw the sun rising over the ocean beside these dramatic cliffs, I knew I had to take a moment to capture the landscape.
In the foreground, vibrant red flowers framed the scene while the warm sunrise light slowly filled the sky. It was one of those brief moments where everything aligned perfectly. Just a few minutes later, the sun disappeared behind the clouds—and over the following days, we never saw it again.
Sometimes landscape photography is simply about being ready when the moment appears.
