What’s In My Camera Bag
I often get asked what gear I use — from my camera and lenses to lighting setups and outdoor accessories. Below, I’ve listed everything I personally use and recommend. Some of these links are affiliate links, which means I may earn a small commission if you purchase through them (at no extra cost to you). Every product here is something I genuinely rely on in my work.
MACRO LIGHTING
Macro Flexible LED Light
I use multiple lights when I want full control over intensity. The app makes it easy to adjust each light separately for more dynamic setups—perfect for creative flexibility in macro work.
Macro Flexible LED Light
Lighting is everything in macro. This small, flexible LED lets me place light exactly where I need it—great for shaping shadows and revealing fine details, even on location.
Light Panel for Macro & Video
A super versatile light I use for macro shots and talking-head videos. It’s bright, color-adjustable, and compact—but what I love most is being able to charge my phone on the go.
CAMERA BODIES
Canon R5 - Main Camera
My main hybrid camera for pro photography and video. I’ve used Canon gear for 20+ years—reliable, sharp, and consistent. Not sponsored, just a fan.
Camera brands: I’m always open to testing new gear.
Canon R6 Mark II - Video Camera
I use the Canon R6 Mark II for all my video work. It’s light, great in low light, and super stable for handheld shooting. Perfect for YouTube and behind-the-scenes stuff.
LENSES
Canon RF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM
My favorite lens for macro photography. It’s razor sharp, has beautiful bokeh, and works perfectly with my flexible LED lighting setup.
Canon RF 15-35mm f/2.8L IS USM
This is the lens I use for landscapes and wide shots. Fast, sharp, and stabilized—perfect for handheld video and photos in nature.
Canon RF 28-70mm f/2L USM
Perfect for commercial work and portrait-style shots. The image quality and depth this lens gives is incredible… but it's a beast. I’m still doing push-ups in the morning just to be able to lift this one.
Canon RF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM
Compact, sharp, and lightweight compared to most telephoto lenses. I mostly use it for landscape photography, but I’ll sometimes pop a close-up filter in front of it to experiment with macro-style shots too.
