Who I Think I Am
Hi, I’m Daniel Aucoin, a macro and nature photographer.
I’m still trying to figure out the meaning of life (updates coming eventually), but one thing I do know - photography helps me slow down and stay present.
For over 20 years, the camera has been my excuse to pay attention to the small things most people walk right past. These days, I’m mostly building small scenes or walking in the forest looking for subjects… and shaping light to create tiny worlds.
It’s not really about the gear or even the final image. It’s about the process - slowing down, experimenting, and getting lost in something small.
That’s also what keeps me grounded. Photography became a way for me to clear my mind, reconnect, and stay present.
If you’re curious about how these images come to life, you can visit my YouTube channel where I share everything behind the scenes.
Keep moving ✌️
