Frozen Cosmos – Fine Art Print
Frozen Cosmos was captured on a cold November morning, when frost had painted everything in delicate crystals. Earlier that year, I had photographed a violet flower and named it Cosmic Violet. This moment brought me right back to that image—but with a winter twist.
The petals of this small flower were completely covered in ice, each edge shimmering with tiny frost crystals. I used a similar composition to Cosmic Violet, adding steel wool in the background to bring subtle texture. This time, I kept the lighting cool, creating an image that feels frozen and still—yet with a soft warmth radiating from the heart of the flower.
It’s a quiet reminder that even in the coldest moments, there’s beauty and light waiting to be seen.
