Hooked on Love – Fine Art Print
Hooked on Love is part of a series I created during the winter months in my basement, using simple materials and a spark of curiosity. I had asked my father for his old fly fishing kit, and that morning, I gathered whatever I had on hand—determined to make something from it.
I started experimenting with a DVD, shaping the reflection to form a heart, and carefully adjusted the lighting until a burst of prismatic colors appeared near the top of the frame. The result felt playful, vibrant, and unexpectedly romantic.
The title Hooked on Love is a lighthearted nod to the fly fishing gear that inspired it—a mix of nostalgia, creativity, and a reminder that love can show up in the most surprising places.
